Eric has spent his entire life trying to suppress his powers. He’s finally forced to confront them when he’s kidnapped by the mysterious organization Scorpion. He narrowly escapes, but there’s no going back to the way things were before. Scorpion has come to the town of Tyche Point for a reason. And they’ll stop at nothing to recruit as many unsuspecting kids into their ranks as they can.

Eric and his friends—old and new—are drawn into a battle between Scorpion and the other groups competing for Tyche Point’s greatest secret: an ancient, powerful artifact called the pyramid fragment. Scorpion needs it for their plans, the government wants to take it for themselves, and a dangerous agent intends to get his hands on it by any means necessary.
