In the soulverse world, the planet Earth is surrounded by a ring that has been in place for as long as humanity can remember. Earth's nations have experienced thousands of years of relative peace, called the years of unity (y.u.). While Earth boasts a diversity of languages and cultures, most speak the common language Terrish and the terr currency can be used anywhere.
For millennia, magic has been the foundation of human society and its expansion. Soulspeakers—manipulators of the elements—raised cities, crossed seas, and lifted ships from the oceans into the skies. Civilization grew past the Earth's ring to the fae-inhabited moon and stretched as far as Mars, where elves and giants roam.
Soulspeakers are divided into four orders which each contain further specializations: Sky, Earth, Sun, and Moon. While the orders have their own lands of origin, magic has made travel easy and people hailing from all orders and nations can be found across the world.
The following maps are not a complete picture of the Soulverse Earth. They include major countries and landmarks, but many smaller regions, territories, islands, and geological features are not labeled here.
Soulverse maps include the Terrish names for features, some of which are called the same in local languages, while others have been translated. Many features have multiple names given by various nations and civilizations in the area. Terrish named were agreed upon in the early years of unity.
